The last from the first roll through the Gaf Memo. I was very impressed this photo came out. It was getting dark, on top of the thick gloom we'd had all day that day, and it was starting to drizzle. I was surprised when this little camera metered enough light to shoot, and the results are pretty accurate. I like the vignetting too. I thought the last post was the only one I left colorized, but this one is too (I'm getting behind in my posting and forgetting what I did with these photos way back in early February). It's a different tone though. Interesting.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure how much longer the Gaf is going to work. There was a lot of corrosion in the battery compartment when I took possession of it. I cleaned it up pretty well, but the metal prong that serves as the negative contact was so corroded it was flimsy. I suspect it will break off soon. I haven't been able to get a steady voltage the last few times I got it out to take a photo. I suspect replacing the prong would be heavy work, mainly because the wire connected to it has no slack in it and would have to be entirely replaced with a longer wire to have enough room to soldered it back to a new metal prong in the battery compartment.

I like this camera. It's fun, so I hope it holds together a while longer.
